This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the European Defence Agency's efforts in supporting the Council and Member States in enhancing defence capabilities for crisis management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating military views, particularly with respect to Single European Sky (SES) related regulation, and preparing meetings for key stakeholders.
In this position, you will facilitate the exchange of information between the Military community and EU institutions, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective decision-making.
You will work closely with other Project Officers to prepare for EASA Committee meetings and contribute to the implementation of the Military Aviation Strategy in the context of SES.
Your tasks will include following up on EU Regulations and identifying requirements for launching Common Military Views, as well as contributing to the assessment of EU Strategies' impact on military operations.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to chair meetings effectively.
You will also be responsible for establishing and developing necessary coordination at staff level with other SES stakeholders, including EUROCONTROL, NATO, EASA, and participating Member States.
As a team player, you will contribute to the preparation of EDA Steering Boards, ESMAB meetings, SEC meetings, and other events as required.
The ability to work independently and flexibly is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

A secondment to the Agency will be for a three-year period, renewable within the limits set out in the EDA SNE Rules.
The successful candidate will be seconded as AD10/AD11 equivalent.

This list will be valid until 31/12/2024 and may be extended by decision of the Chief Executive.
Successful candidates may be offered a secondment in EDA according to their competences in relation to the specific requirements of the vacant post.
