Job Title: Network Construction Manager
Job Summary:
You will lead a team in constructing a fibre network from planning to completion. This involves assembling and coordinating a team for the construction of the fibre network, managing day-to-day operations, overseeing budget and performance, reporting progress and issues to stakeholders, and taking necessary actions to achieve project objectives.
The role also involves maintaining stakeholder relationships through open and constructive communication, serving as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders, and ensuring delivered quality and documentation of test reports and as-builts.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble and coordinate a team for the construction of the fibre network
* Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, planning, and follow-up
* Oversee budget and performance
* Report progress and issues to stakeholders
* Take necessary actions to achieve project objectives
* Maintain stakeholder relationships through open and constructive communication
* Serve as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders
* Ensure delivered quality and documentation of test reports and as-builts
Requirements:
* Strong people management skills to motivate and lead a team
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or a leadership role
* Background in construction or fibre work
* Certainty and negotiation skills for working with various stakeholders
* Experience in financial management and budget management
* An eye for efficiency and quality while being cost-conscious
* Able to handle diverse stakeholder groups (city councils, police services, residents, clients)
* Familiarity with reporting tools and software (e.g., PowerBi, Excel)
* Ideal: Strong knowledge of French or Dutch
