We’re looking for an experienced IGA / IAM Consultant (Freelancer) to join a growing identity consultancy delivering enterprise-level identity programmes across Belgium.This role focuses on shaping and defining Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions from a business perspective, rather than purely technical delivery.LogisticsPosition: Freelance IGA / IAM ConsultantDuration: 12-month rolling contractLocation: Belgium (Hybrid – initial 2x-day-a-week on-site presence required)Language: English (Dutch is a plus)Start Date: ASAPCore ResponsibilitiesLead “as-is” and “to-be” workshops to analyse and redesign identity and access processesEngage with business stakeholders to understand organisational structures, operating models, and key drivers (e.g. compliance, efficiency, cost)Define identity lifecycle processes, including Joiner / Mover / Leaver flows and access governance modelsTranslate business requirements into clear functional designs for technical delivery teamsAct as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, guiding decisions and challenging requirements where neededIdentify quick wins and help shape the early stages of IGA programmesSupport the design of scalable identity governance frameworks across complex environmentsCollaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are aligned with best practices and tool capabilitiesStrong background in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) or IAMProven experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitationDeep understanding of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and access governanceExperience with Omada (or willingness to learn)Ability to translate business needs into structured, scalable identity solutionsConfident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadershipExperience working in complex, enterprise environmentsFluent English required (Dutch preferred)Nice to HaveBackground with other IGA tools such as SailPointExposure to energy, retail, or media sector projectsCertifications such as CISP, ISO 27001, or relevant IGA certificationsExperience in SaaS-driven identity environments
