2. Role Overview
* We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to strengthen our B2B Architecture Team. In this role, you will design complex application architectures, ensure smooth system integration and provide clear architectural guidance across multiple B2B initiatives—often linked to the CSS layer.
* The ideal candidate brings solid architectural experience, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to define high‑quality solution designs in a dynamic environment.
3. Key Responsibilities
* Design end‑to‑end solution architectures for complex, multi‑application landscapes.
* Work simultaneously on multiple initiatives within the B2B domain (frequently related to the CSS layer).
* Conduct high‑level impact assessments and translate findings into actionable solution designs.
* Align closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure architectural solutions meet business needs.
* Prepare architectural alternatives, analyze requirements and define transformation paths.
* Challenge business requirements by clarifying complexity, cost drivers and feasible alternatives.
* Map the total cost picture and define feasible “first workable versions” of solutions.
* Contribute to the long‑term vision around application modernization and rationalization.
* Enforce architectural guardrails to maintain a healthy, maintainable application landscape.
* Support and promote enterprise architecture thinking across the organization.
4. Requirements & Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years in a Solution Architect role, preferably in a complex technology environment.
Must‑Have Skills
* Strong experience designing architectural alternatives and end‑to‑end solutions.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of solution design.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
* Strong influencing skills: able to present, defend and align architectural choices.
* Ability to evaluate impact, complexity and cost to recommend the most effective solutions.
* Comfortable presenting solutions to groups and guiding stakeholders through decision‑making.
* Adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
* General understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
* Experience working in large, complex application landscapes.
* Familiarity with Confluence and LeanIX for architectural documentation.
* Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
* Experience in the telecom sector.
* Collaboration experience with offshore teams.
* Experience with Salesforce.
