Job Overview
Note - This is a 1 year fixed term role with Client on Client payroll.
We are seeking an experienced Backend ATA (Backend Technical Architect) to develop scalable backend services for a new enterprise discovery platform. The role focuses on building APIs, integrating with search and knowledge graph platforms, and ensuring system scalability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs
* Build and maintain microservices-based architectures
* Integrate backend systems with search and knowledge graph platforms
* Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability
* Write clean, reusable code and implement testing practices
* Monitor applications and resolve production incidents
* Participate in architecture design and technical decision making
* Collaborate with frontend developers and engineering teams
Must-Have Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in backend development
* Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, Node.js or similar backend technologies
* Experience building microservices and distributed systems
* Strong experience with REST APIs and backend architecture
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
* Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
* Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or containerized environments
