Our ATM department (Air Traffic Management) is working with different clients in the field of Air-Traffic Management (ATM) here in Belgium and throughout Europe.
TASKS DESCRIPTION
Our client is looking for a Voice Project Engineer to be in charge of the following tasks (non-exhaustive list):
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Radiosites Project Manager, contractors, and SMEs.
• Documentation Management
o Deliver complete and well structured as-built documentation in accordance with our client's standards
o Develop and maintain documentation architecture
o Review, adapt, and consolidate contractor-delivered schematics
o Produce schematics for client-implemented systems based on SME inputs
o Ensure inclusion of all technical, civil, and administrative documentation (plans, permits, compliance files). Escalate discrepancies as required
o Incorporate all configuration software, backup files, and parameter sets
• Site Construction Follow-Up
o Monitor progress and quality of electrical, mechanical, civil, and ICT infrastructure works (racks, UPS, generator, HVAC, BMS, etc.)
o Validate as-built plans and ensure completeness and accuracy
o Verify the as-delivered items list and ensure alignment with technical expectations
o Assess contractor performance and report deviations
o Coordinate corrective actions with PM, SMEs, and contractors
• Site Integration
o Produce integration schematics in collaboration with SME’s
o Ensure incorporation of integration documentation into the final as-built package
o Follow up on implementation progress to ensure adherence to engineering standards
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor/Master Industrial Sciences (Electromechanics, Automation, Electronics/ICT);
• Minimum 5 years of experience in site-based engineering roles, ideally as an applications or systems engineer with exposure to industrial or infrastructure integration projects;
• A driving license is required for on-site visits;
• Engineer with broad multidisciplinary expertise, ideally with demonstrated experience in systems integration (e.g., industrial automation or critical infrastructure), complemented by strong capabilities in drafting and interpreting electrical and electronic schematics;
• Familiarity with HVAC, BMS, SCADA, Modbus, IP networking, UPS systems, and associated industrial technologies is essential;
• Experience in telecom or RF engineering is an asset, though not a prerequisite;
• Demonstrated experience in technical drafting, construction follow-up, and validation processes;
• Proven ability to compile and deliver comprehensive as-built documentation packages;
• Strong understanding of (industrial) electrical and electronics schematics;
• Experience with system integration in an industrial environment (automation);
• Solid understanding of relevant regulations (e.g., AREI);
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Visio, SolidWorks);
• Strong knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure;
• Familiarity with BMS, SCADA, and UPS systems;
• Experience with RF or telecom technologies is advantageous
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid technical judgment and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders
• High degree of adaptability and autonomy
• Strong organizational and documentation management capabilities
