Role Summary
At mind the facts, we’re not trying to be the biggest — we aim to be the most trusted. As a Microsoft Fabric Data Architect, you won’t just build systems; you’ll help clients cut through complexity with clarity, stability, and impact. Your role is to serve as a strategic advisor and technical lead, working alongside our clients and partners to guide the successful delivery of data platforms built on Microsoft Fabric.
Success in this role means delivering scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures that align to business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build trust, ensure sustainable delivery, and turn data into clear, actionable facts.
How This Role Fits into Our Mission
We exist to help organizations navigate the complexity of data and AI. You will be at the forefront of this mission — not as a large-scale implementer, but as a guardian of best practices and strategic clarity. You’ll work side-by-side with clients, translating ambition into architecture and uncertainty into confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect and design end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI, and Data Activator).
* Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions that deliver clarity and value.
* Guide clients through data strategy decisions, aligning architecture with long-term goals and sustainable delivery.
* Lead data modeling, transformation, and pipeline development within the Fabric ecosystem.
* Serve as a trusted technical advisor in engagements — from discovery to deployment — ensuring projects are delivered on time and with real impact.
* Establish and maintain architecture best practices across governance, performance, security, and cost optimization.
* Partner with client teams and third parties to align delivery processes and integrate effectively into broader tech ecosystems.
* Share knowledge and mentor team members and clients, simplifying complex technical topics into actionable insights.
Qualifications & Experience
* Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and its key components (OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI).
* Strong understanding of modern data architecture concepts including data lakes, lakehouses, real-time analytics, and semantic modeling.
* Experience delivering data solutions within Azure environments, including security and governance best practices.
* Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and optionally Python or Spark.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proven experience working closely with clients or stakeholders in an advisory or leadership role.
* A track record of delivering projects that balance sustainability, clarity, and real-world impact.
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems).
* Microsoft certifications (e.g., Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer, or Solutions Architect) are highly valued.
