Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Global Account Manager to own and grow the Data & Integration (MuleSoft + Informatica) business within a larger CG account, one of the world's largest consumer goods companies. This senior sales role requires a proven track record in enterprise software sales, deep understanding of integration and data connectivity solutions, and the ability to drive complex, multi-million dollar deals with C-level executives in the retail and consumer goods industry.
Key Responsibilities
Territory & Account Management
* Own and drive the MuleSoft business within this customer as a strategic enterprise account
* Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to penetrate multiple business units and geographies within this customer
* Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, IT leadership, and business stakeholders across the organization
* Navigate the complex organizational structure of a global consumer goods enterprise
* Identify expansion opportunities across supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, and customer experience functions
Sales Excellence
* Achieve annual quota targets for New Annual Contract Value (NACV) and Net New Annual Order Value (NNAOV)
* Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles spanning multiple countries and business units
* Lead white space analysis and land-and-expand strategies within the customer ecosystem
* Develop compelling business cases that demonstrate ROI specific to consumer goods and retail challenges
* Forecast accurately and provide regular business updates to management
Solution Selling & Technical Acumen
* Position MuleSoft's integration platform as a strategic enabler for retail and consumer goods digital transformation
* Articulate business value of API-led connectivity for omnichannel retail, supply chain optimization, and connected manufacturing
* Address industry-specific use cases including DTC e-commerce integration, brewery operations, distribution management, and customer data platforms
* Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and Technical Architects to design solutions for complex consumer goods scenarios
* Understand competitive landscape in retail/CPG integration and effectively differentiate MuleSoft offerings
Team Collaboration
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Partners
* Mentor and guide junior team members when appropriate
* Participate in regional sales initiatives and best practice sharing
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background
* 8-10+ years of enterprise B2B software sales experience
* Proven track record in solution selling within integration, data, middleware, or enterprise software
* Experience managing large, complex deals ($500K+ ACV)
* History of quota attainment and territory growth
Technical & Industry Knowledge
* Understanding of API management, integration platforms, and data connectivity solutions
* Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts and digital transformation initiatives
* Knowledge of cloud platforms and hybrid integration patterns
* Deep experience in retail and consumer goods industry with understanding of:
* Supply chain and logistics systems (SAP, Oracle, warehouse management)
* E-commerce platforms and DTC sales channels
* Manufacturing execution systems and brewery operations
* Point-of-sale and retail management systems
* Customer data platforms and loyalty programs
* IoT and connected product initiatives
Skills & Competencies
* Exceptional consultative selling and relationship building skills
* Strong executive presence and communication abilities for engaging with global enterprise leadership
* Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizational structures in multinational corporations
* Strategic thinking and account planning capabilities for large enterprise accounts
* Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
* Understanding of global business dynamics and multi-country sales coordination
* Experience with large-deal orchestration ($1M+ opportunities)
Language & Location
* Fluency in English and Dutch
* French language skills are a strong plus
* Based in Belgium
* Willingness to travel internationally to support the customer's global operations

Certifications & Education
* MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (preferred)
* Bachelor or master degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
* Advanced degree (MBA, etc.) is a plus
