The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support our NATO Allied Special Operations Forces Command (SOFCOM) in Mons, Belgium. This position is contingent upon contract award and is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
* Apply comprehensive knowledge of data science strategies, methodologies, processes, and tools.
* Develop advanced data science algorithms including predictive analysis, machine learning, and AI to support warfighter needs.
* Support data analysis, integration, and fusion activities to generate operational pictures.
* Lead development and deployment of predictive models and machine learning algorithms for large datasets.
* Design data-driven solutions for actionable decision-making.
* Assess new data sources and techniques, ensuring data feed continuity to coalition networks.
* Coordinate with system administrators to configure and troubleshoot data feeds.
* Monitor and maintain data feed connections with various commands and agencies.
* Implement new statistical methodologies as needed.
* Stay informed on emerging policies, technologies, and best practices in data management.
* Present data insights clearly to stakeholders.
* Collaborate on reporting and information sharing to ensure accuracy.
* Mentor other data scientists and data managers.
* Function as a technical expert and possibly supervise others.
Qualifications:
Required:
* 8-12 years of experience with a BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience.
* Possess a Secret clearance.
* Mastery of advanced data science and machine learning techniques, preferably in military/defense applications.
* Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and AI algorithms.
* Experience in large-scale data science project design and implementation.
* Proficiency with relevant tools, cloud platforms, and programming languages.
* Ability to communicate technical findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
* Preferred: Background in government or military data science, cybersecurity analytics, and ethical AI.
* Security+ certification.
Desired:
* Data Science-related certifications.
* Experience supporting NATO SOFCOM missions.
* Experience managing complex IT and communication projects.
