CONTEXT :
Within the framework of a Generative AI Competence Center (GenAI CC), a major organization in the energy sector is strengthening its team to support its digital transformation through generative AI and automation initiatives.
The GenAI CC is responsible for defining governance, security, and compliance related to generative AI usage, while actively supporting business teams in adopting AI-driven solutions.
The environment is strongly oriented toward the Microsoft ecosystem, leveraging tools such as Copilot Studio, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI Search to design, deploy, and govern conversational and automated AI solutions.
The role focuses on delivering concrete AI projects while contributing to the continuous evolution of the Generative AI Competence Center.
Responsibilities
Working closely with a Solution Architect and AI experts, the Generative AI Engineer will be responsible for:
* Scoping and analysing business needs for AI initiatives (LLMs, chatbots, automation, dashboards, etc.)
* Designing, developing, deploying, optimising, and monitoring generative AI solutions
* Building conversational agents, RAG-based chatbots, intelligent search engines, and advanced automation
* Performing functional and technical analysis and producing clear documentation
* Contributing to the structuring and evolution of the GenAI Competence Center (governance, security, compliance, best practices)
* Implementing and documenting operational AI governance standards
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams (solution architects, data engineers, business analysts, business users)
* Conducting technology watch and proposing continuous improvements, particularly around Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI services
Required Skills
Must Have
* Strong experience in functional analysis and business needs scoping
* Fluent communication skills in French and English
* Proven experience designing and integrating generative AI solutions (LLMs, chatbots, automation, dashboards)
* Expertise in conversational and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio, including RAG chatbots
* Experience with Azure AI services (Azure AI Services, Fabric, SQL, Azure AI Search) and the ability to quickly adopt Azure AI Foundry
* Strong command of the Power Platform (governance, automation, integration) Medior level
Nice to Have
* Ability to contribute to governance, security, and compliance frameworks for generative AI
* Understanding of data engineering concepts (databases, pipelines, cloud integration) Medior level
* Python development experience (e.g. LangChain, PySpark) Medior level (3–5 years)
* Experience with monitoring tools for performance, operational stability, and cost control Medior level
