We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect who will serve as the expert and authority for architecture decisions and recommendations within our SAP ERP landscape and its integration with a best-of-breed application ecosystem. This is not just an SAP role—it requires a strategic thinker who understands enterprise architecture holistically and can balance SAP best practices with external solutions to deliver a clean, scalable, and future-proof environment.
Your new role
As a Lead Architect for SAP, you will:
1. Own the end-to-end architectural vision for SAP ERP and its connected applications.
2. Guard the Clean Core principle, ensuring minimal customizations and adherence to SAP standards.
3. Drive integration strategies across SAP and non-SAP solutions in a complex, global landscape.
4. Influence and guide major transformation programs, including ERP migrations and modernization initiatives.
5. Represent SAP architecture in the Architecture Board, shaping decisions that impact the entire organization.
6. Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders, ensuring architectural decisions deliver measurable business outcomes.
Your profile
7. 10+ years in architecture with a strong focus on SAP ERP.
8. Proven track record of leading ERP transformation programs in large, complex organizations.
9. Deep knowledge of SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI, BTP).
10. Experience with best-of-breed landscapes, integrating SAP with non-SAP applications.
11. Strong understanding of Clean Core principles, SAP’s future roadmap, and fit-to-standard approaches.
12. Ability to think beyond SAP, evaluating external solutions objectively.
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
