WFS BRUCARGO HAS A VACANCY FOR A POSITION OF A JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Our Finance department is responsible for the accounting processing of financial figures and timely, high-quality reporting to the WFS Group. It works closely with other departments to optimise the quality of financial data.
As a junior accountant, you will be responsible for supplier accounting, assist with customer accounting and help with the preparations for the monthly reporting to the SATS Group.
Main Responsibilities:
Supplier accounting:
· Processing purchase invoices and expense reports
· Monitoring the status of outstanding invoices in the approval process
· Processing bank statements
· Monitoring outstanding supplier items
· Monitoring the supplier accounting mailbox
· Preparing payments
Customer accounts:
· Providing support to the credit controller
· Factoring
· Direct debits
General accounting tasks:
· Monthly processing of various entries such as depreciation, commissions, leasing costs, etc.
· Providing support with simple month-end closing tasks
· Ad hoc accounting tasks
Profile description:
Your profile:
· Bachelor's degree: Accountancy
· Some initial work experience is a plus but not essential
· Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French, and English
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Experience with SageBob and related software programmes is a plus
· Willingness to learn other packages and work tools
· You have an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn attitude
