We are looking for a part-time Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team and help build the foundation of Europe's next AI infrastructure company.
This is a hybrid position based in Antwerp, Belgium, with flexibility for remote work.
You will work directly with our founding team on the development of advanced AI systems, intelligent agents, enterprise memory architectures, and machine learning models that power mission-critical workflows for enterprise clients.
This is not a maintenance role. You will be building products from the ground up and helping shape the future of Agentic Operating Systems.
Your Responsibilities
Design, build and deploy production-ready machine learning models in Python
Develop intelligent agent architectures and reasoning systems
Build and optimize retrieval, memory and knowledge infrastructures
Train, fine-tune and evaluate machine learning models
Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
Develop pattern recognition and classification systems
Research and implement state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques
Collaborate closely with product, engineering and leadership teams
Contribute to the architecture of Videntra's core AI infrastructure
Continuously improve model performance, reliability and scalability
Required Experience & Skills
Technical Requirements
3–5 years of experience in Python development
Strong knowledge of Python libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy and FastAPI
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience building and deploying Machine Learning models
Experience with LLMs, RAG systems and AI Agents
Experience with Vector Databases and Knowledge Graphs
Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Experience with Docker and containerized environments
Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic or similar AI platforms and their enterprise integration
Experience with Git, Agile methodologies and project management environments such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Professional Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
High ownership mentality
Ability to operate in a fast‑moving startup environment
Experience building AI systems for enterprise use cases
Nice to Have
Experience with video processing frameworks such as FFmpeg
Experience with Neural Networks and Deep Learning
Familiarity with MLOps and model deployment pipelines
Experience with enterprise workflow automation systems
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering or a related field
Equivalent practical experience is equally valued
