Job Summary
The District Manager will oversee assigned sports retail shops in Hong Kong, driving sales through strong on-floor execution, operational efficiency, and team motivation. Focus on impactful store-level implementation of company programs, quick adjustments to boost traffic/conversion, and proactive responses in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and monitor floor metrics to maximize sales, productivity, efficiency, and service standards.
Execute marketing/visual programs effectively on the floor, making real-time adjustments to displays, staffing, and tactics to drive traffic and conversion.
Monitor performance, customer flow, and trends; proactively optimize in-store actions (e.g., placement, quick promotions).
Analyze data and observations to recommend practical improvements for operations and sales.
Ensure policy compliance, brand standards, high-quality presentation, and smooth rollout of promotions/seasonal activities.
Manage floor inventory for optimal stock and quick replenishment.
Coach and motivate store managers and staff hands-on to enhance selling skills, engagement, and energy.
Share actionable floor insights with management and assist supervisor in meeting consolidation plus peer coordination for follow-ups.
Bring quick, innovative ideas to address emerging in-store challenges and trends.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or related.
3-5 years experience, with 1-2 years in retail (sports/fashion preferred; transferable skills welcome).
Passion for on-floor execution and agile actions that deliver results.
Strong observation, quick decisions, and proactive mindset.
Self-driven and willing to go the extra mile for outstanding outcomes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
Enthusiastic in customer/team interactions.
Hong Kong retail trends knowledge a plus.
Proficient in Cantonese; good written and spoken English for daily office communication; conversational Putonghua sufficient.
