Our client is an international pharmaceutical company that operates in various therapeutic areas, such as gastroenterology, rheumatology and metabolic.FunctionAs a field-based Product Specialist, you will establish long-term relationships with highly specialized medical doctors and other health care professionals that provide treatment for patients suffering from chronic inflammatory disease. You work closely together with the medical department to focus on the scientific approach for the benefit of the patients. As a well-informed ambassador, you play an important role in developing awareness about and use of your product. Your roleYou visit gastroenterologists and rheumatologists in region: Antwerpen / Mechelen / Turnhout / Sint-Niklaas / Dendermonde Demonstrate a high ability to interact with customers, delivering impactful communication in all environments to support the use of the right treatment at the right time for the right patient.Establish awareness and use of the product in target accounts.Apply account management approach, selling skills and clinical expertise to enhance our business and build support for your product.Fulfill customer requests for information and/or expertise by coordinating with the appropriate resources within the business or team.Achieve sales forecast within the assigned territory by establishing and executing account plans.Work closely together with your in-field medical and all other X-functional roles (eg. sales, marketing, medical, customer service) striving for the same objectives. Anticipate macro trends and shifts in the marketplace, which trigger customer strategy review and utilize this knowledge to help the shaping or reshaping of strategical and operational frames.Proactively seek to understand competitor activities, strategies, and programs and ensure that this competitive intelligence is shared broadly within the organization.Maintain transparent communication continuously and encourage healthy debates.RequirementsPreferably scientific/commercial profile who can think and act on a master/bachelor levelMinimum 2 years of experience in hospital sales positionKnowledge of pharmaceutical or sales processes and procedures to act according to ethic and compliance rules.Understanding of pharmaceutical distribution processes and hospital environmentYou represent your company on the field, specialist in your product, you act according to company’s values.Strong ability to understand market trends, financial data, customer needs, and assess new opportunities both quantitatively and qualitatively.Your native Dutch speaking. Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading in English is required.
