It represents the Ageas Group towards external parties, managing relations with analysts, retail and institutional investors, regulators, rating agencies and the media.Department & TeamThe Group Risk department is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the overall risk profile of the Group including the aggregate risk profile of the insurance companies. It develops, proposes, and implements the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. It ensures the models used for measuring risk are appropriate and fit for purpose. It also coordinates major risk related projects. It follows the topic of sustainability, information security and monitors regulatory developments and prepares appropriate actions. Within the risk department, the Model Implementation Team (MIT) is responsible for implementing complex actuarial and risk models into operational tools used across the risk departments of the Group and its OpCos. It also maintains those tools, oversees release planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment of models, in alignment with the group’s governance bodies, and in regulatory compliance with Solvency II, IFRS17, and other frameworks. With a strong culture of collaboration, MIT connects with stakeholders across Ageas to deliver custom-tailored, reliable, and performant risk solutions. The team is structured into three specialized sections: 1) Modeling & Reporting 2) Risk Tooling & Performance, and 3) Transversal Role.The functionYou design, implement and maintain the capital requirement tooling in line with business requirements and technical specifications that have been approved by the appropriate technical committees and model control boards.You provide support during user-acceptance testing (bug fixing, writing of test instructions, and communication to users) as well as during regular production use of the capital requirement tooling.You perform tests of the capital requirement tooling, prior to user-acceptance testing.You are a subject matter expert for all matters related to Solvency II, ICS or generally capital requirement related topics.You participate in Technical Committees (financial risk, life valuation & risk, non-life valuation & risk, transversal risk, aggregation & consolidation)You support model managers in defining business requirements and technical specification regarding capital requirement calculations.You contribute to and update structured documentation, covering methodology, technical implementation, process maps and user instructions.
