Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a QA/QC Assistant to join its team in VIE and support projects in an industrial environment.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
* Manage non‑conformities (NC): train staff, verify and record NCs, support analysis, define corrective actions, and ensure closure.
* Document management: review and validate manufacturer documentation, maintain archives, and ensure proper data organization.
* Maintain the Qualfocus database: metrology records, NC tracking, and applicable document lists.
* QA support: act as the backup for the QA Manager for document approval/signature.
* Lead internal ISO 9001 audit planning: create the audit schedule, ensure follow-up, and contribute to continuous improvement of the Quality Manual and internal processes.
ABOUT YOU:
* You have a degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
* Proven first professional experience in QA/QC, ideally in an industrial environment (nuclear sector is a strong asset).
* Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard.
* You are fluent in Frenchh and you have a professional level of English
