As a Key Account Manager Open Market, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the Belgian open market, including retailers, distributors and e-commerce players. You will play a key role in expanding market share, strengthening partnerships and ensuring successful product launches and in-store execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and develop a portfolio of key open market accounts (retailers, distributors, e-commerce partners)
• Drive sell-in and sell-out performance across assigned accounts
• Develop and execute joint business plans with key partners
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotions and product listings
• Ensure successful product launches and go-to-market execution
• Coordinate with marketing, supply chain and sales operations teams to ensure optimal product availability and visibility
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and retail performance
• Analyse sales data and KPIs to optimize account performance
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
• Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting through CRM and internal tools
Profile & Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or similar commercial role
• Proven experience in the consumer electronics, smartphone or telecom sector
• Strong understanding of the Belgian open market retail landscape
• Experience working with indirect sales channels and distribution partners
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Results-driven mindset with a strong commercial acumen
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English, French and Dutch is a strong advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools
