Assignments
We are looking for a Project Test Engineer to join one of our clients in the automotive sector.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Serving as the single point of contact for an extended test plan and ensuring agreed milestones are met
* Managing and justifying required resources, people, test benches, and more, to complete the test plan within agreed timing
* Proactively identifying and unblocking items that prevent progress, working with autonomy and initiative
* Reporting test progress on a regular basis to the Team Leader Test Center Support
* Collaborating closely with internal departments (hardware & software engineering, project management) as well as external suppliers and testing facilities
* Actively contributing to innovative projects in the field of powertrain development
The profile
Background
You hold an engineering degree in industrial, electromechanical, or mechanical engineering — or equivalent by experience.
Must Have
* Familiarity with the automotive product creation process
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate within a multidisciplinary team
* Autonomous, perseverant, and systematic working style with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset
* Strong communication skills and a solid command of English (oral and written), with the ability to report results clearly and effectively
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of transmissions (CVT, DCT, hybrid or electric powertrains)
* Experience in automotive testing and testing facilities
