Het OCMW van Ganshoren biedt steun en begeleiding aan de meest kwetsbare inwoners, waaronder financiële en materiële bijstand, juridisch advies, socio-professionele ondersteuning en culturele activiteiten.
Responsibilities
Analyse and processing of applications for social assistance, ensuring compliance with legal framework and internal guidelines.
Providing accurate and high‑quality information to applicants so they can be referred if necessary.
Performing fair social follow‑ups by actively listening, respecting confidentiality, and considering the applicant’s situation.
Demonstrating proactivity and flexibility in daily work and personal development.
Co‑ordinating and collaborating with the various departments.
Qualifications
Mandatory bachelor degree in "maatschappelijke assistentie" (or equivalent).
Knowledge of the law on the right to social integration (26/05/2002), the organic law of the OCMW (08/07/1976) and the law on the costs of social assistance (02/04/1965).
Proficient with common IT tools.
Strong analytical, summarising, and communication skills (oral and written).
Adherence to professional standards and confidentiality rules.
Meticulous, autonomous, dynamic, diplomatic, flexible, and solution‑oriented.
