We are instructed by the head of the Food Product Regulatory team at an international law firm in Brussels to help with the critical hire of an experienced EU regulatory associate.
The team helps food and beverage companies navigate the complex regulatory obligations related to the full lifecycle of products, from R&D and market authorisations, through to labelling, promotions and supply chain issues. They also advise on product liability and crisis management, as well as regulatory issues relating to other consumer products and packaging.
The work is broad and intellectually challenging, involving a mix of regulatory, public and administrative and contract law, in an advisory, transactional and contentious context.
You will be an experienced EU regulatory lawyer with a strong grounding in economic regulation and exposure to working within highly regulated industries and products. A member of the Brussels Bar with a strong academic record and fluency in English and French or Dutch.
You will take on a key role as the right hand to the head of department and help continue to the fast growth of this impressive practice.
