Location: Riverhead, NY | Employment Type: Full-time (35–40 hours/week) | Salary: $356,345.50 – $417,497.60/yr (40 hrs/week) or $311,802.40/yr starting base (35 hrs/week)
Position Overview
This role provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to diverse patient populations in a community health setting. The position is located at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Riverhead, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care
- Perform outpatient sessions and surgical procedures
- Participate in on‐call coverage and hospital rounds
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers
- Coordinate referrals and follow‐up care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active NY State license, DEA registration, and Board Certification
- Experience with diverse patient populations in community health settings
- Proficiency in prenatal care, intrapartum management, postpartum care, gynecologic surgery, family planning, and electronic health records
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, cultural competence, empathy, and teamwork skills with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
