To.Scale is looking for someone who can help us build, harden, monitor and defend the security posture of retail environments in our client's, a major player in the automotive world, HQ from POS systems to cloud infrastructure.
You’ll be designing architecture, rolling out vulnerability management, creating incident response playbooks and delivering targeted awareness training to staff who may or may not think “phishing” is something their cousin does on the weekend.
This isn’t a policy-writing desk job. It’s operational. It’s hands-on. And it’s tailored to the messy, real-world complexity of distributed retail setups.
When onsite, you’ll be workingin Brussels, embedded within Toyota Motor Europe, but reporting into Toyota Tsusho Systems Europe (TTS-E) with To.Scale as your Employer of Record.
Occasional travel within Europe is part of the setup. That said, you can be based in Belgium, Portugal, Greece, Romania, or Poland, as long as you can travel to Brussels when needed.
What you’ll be doing
* Architecting secure retailer environments (POS, local networks, cloud)
* Writing and updating security hardening guidelines (quarterly)
* Leading vulnerability scanning & patching cycles (monthly)
* Creating and reviewing incident response playbooks (bi-annual + quarterly drills)
* Driving security awareness & training (for retailer staff – yes, the front lines)
* Deploying monitoring tools and producing monthly security reports
Requirements
What we’re looking for
* Solid background in security engineering, ideally in retail or distributed systems
* Strong chops in network security, endpoint protection, and incident response
* Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS
* Great documentation and communication skills (you’ll need them)
* Master’s degree or equivalent experience
* 3–5 years of relevant hands-on work
Benefits
Your daily rate is based on 220 working days per year.
This will be converted into a fixed monthly fee that already includes your paid time off, meaning you're not just paid for the days you log, but also for your vacation days and local bank holidays.
In case you work with us as a FTE (which might be a possibility for Greece and Portugal based talent), local company benefits will apply.
