About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Communications Specialist to join our team in Brussels. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in shaping our brand's presence and messaging across multiple channels.
Main Responsibilities:
* Social Media Management: Develop, manage, and execute content for all social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook). Monitor engagement, analyze performance metrics, and stay ahead of emerging trends.
* Website Management: Oversee the content and day-to-day management of our corporate website, ensuring it is up-to-date, engaging, and aligned with our brand identity.
* Media Relations: Act as a point of contact for media inquiries, build and maintain relationships with journalists, and draft press releases and media kits.
* Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of events, from small internal workshops to large-scale public conferences and webinars.
* Creative Content Development: Develop compelling content for various channels, including newsletters, articles, and presentations.
Requirements:
* A proven track record in communications or a related field.
* Strong understanding and practical experience in social media management.
* Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
* Proven writing skills for press releases and other media materials.
* Experience in event management, from planning to on-the-day execution.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is a significant advantage.
