Senior Director MSAT Strategic Operations & Packaging
Join Johnson & Johnson MedTech as a Senior Director in the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Leadership Team. The SO&P focuses on technical leadership for the introduction and lifecycle management of our product portfolio, driving value through innovative responses to customer and business requirements.

You Will Be Responsible For
The Senior Director is accountable for ideating, shaping, driving and optimizing business and technical processes, with associated tools that are essential to the business strategy execution within the ever‑changing business landscape. The core of the SO&P group is focused on ensuring robust process governance, providing a framework for accountability, adherence, and continuous improvement.
Business Management: Identify and centralize work & services across MSAT, optimize and standardize, automate, provide strategic workforce planning, training, curricula, and develop business systems.
Strategy & Performance: Drive MSAT’s strategy development and execution, enable performance management, project portfolio management, budgeting and resource allocation.
Technical Know How: Continuous improvement and harmonized execution across core technical processes (TT, LCPV, Cleaning), governance for Communities of Practices, foster Knowledge Management.
Packaging Engineering: Provide secondary and tertiary packaging material design, equipment & transportation support for new product launches, technical transfers, lifecycle management, and related projects.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s/University degree (MSC/MBA preferred).
12‑15 years of relevant experience, with 5‑10 years in a technical/m manufacturing or support environment.
Senior level management experience overseeing teams across geographic regions.
Strong business acumen, finance/budget understanding, and broader experience beyond technical/scientific.
Comprehensive knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain.
Demonstrated competency in communicating a clear vision and strategy for a large, diverse, multicultural team.
Proven ability to build and maintain an inclusive culture and talent pipeline.
Experience working with external partners and building strategic alliances.
Strong change leadership and influence skills.
Other
Proficiency in English (written & verbal).
Ability to work internationally across time zones.
Up to 20% domestic/international travel as needed.
Flexible work policy: on‑site minimum three days per week, with option of two remote workdays.
