Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will be at the heart of our company's growth strategy.
You'll combine hands-on business development with leadership responsibilities. Build a strong network within the IT staffing industry, develop long-term client relationships, manage your own consultant portfolio, and lead a team of Business Managers toward achieving their commercial goals.
Act as both a trusted partner to clients and a team leader internally, driving performance, strategy, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote and sell Dice's services.
* Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities.
* Own and manage a personal portfolio of consultants and associated profit and loss.
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
* Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
* Meet regularly with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
* Source, screen, and match candidates to client requirements.
* Negotiate terms of business and candidate offers.
Sales Management & Leadership
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Business Managers to achieve their key performance indicators.
* Define and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
* Monitor and manage the full commercial pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
* Provide ongoing training, support, and development to the sales team.
* Analyze team performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Set individual targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
* Contribute actively to the company's go-to-market and talent engagement strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in business development or IT staffing/sales.
* Initial experience in managing a sales team or sales process.
* Strong background in the IT services or tech recruitment sector.
* Fluent in French/Dutch and English.
* Proven ability to lead by example, inspire teams, and drive performance.
* Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills.
* Structured, analytical, and goal-driven.
* Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
