In your day-to-day work...
You will support:
* The implementation and communication activities of EU-funded projects, including drafting content for websites, newsletters, articles, and social media, organising events and webinars, and contributing to communication and dissemination strategies.
* The preparation of technical proposals for Horizon Europe, LIFE, and other European funding programmes, with a particular focus on communication, impact, and exploitation sections.
* The management of EU-funded projects, including reporting, amendment processes, coordination activities, and the delivery of project results.
* The development of innovation-related proposals across different sectors such as energy, transport, health, food, security, sustainability, and digitalisation.
* Interactions with clients, consortium partners, and other stakeholders, including collecting partner inputs and supporting budget development.
* Advising clients and colleagues within your area of expertise and supporting business development activities.
* Representing Zabala Innovation at EU events in the European Quarter and travelling to meetings and events related to EU-funded projects.
* Working in a multidisciplinary team within a young, innovative, international, and challenging environment.
In addition, you will support senior consultants in the management of clients and European projects.
What do we consider most relevant in your profile?
Education
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (completed or in progress).
* Background in a field related to innovation, European affairs, communication, sustainability, engineering, environmental sciences, political sciences, economics, international relations, or similar disciplines.
Knowledge & Interests
* Strong interest in European funding programmes and EU-funded projects.
* Curiosity about innovation, sustainability, research, and emerging technologies.
* Interest in project management, proposal writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
* Interest in one or more of the following areas:
* Energy
* Environment and sustainability
* Digital technologies
* Security
* Health
* Education
* Transport
* Food systems
Languages
* Fluency in English (C1 level or equivalent).
* Knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset, especially:
* French
* Dutch
* Spanish
Location
* Candidates must be based in Brussels or nearby.
