Digital strategy manager, product and pricing enablement

The Digital Strategy Manager, Product and Pricing Enablement, under the guidance of the global lead will execute the transformation of product and pricing practices across Tax & Accounting Europe (TAAE). This role partners closely with executive leadership, business units (BUs), and cross-functional teams to streamline operations, reduce complexity, and drive harmonization across the enterprise. This role is critical to closing revenue gaps, enabling order automation, and improving customer retention.

This person will be responsible for documenting TAAE current-state practices, identifying inefficiencies, and driving the design and implementation of standardized, scalable processes across product setup, pricing, and systems enablement. The role requires a deep understanding of business operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Ultimately, this role strengthens our commercial foundation—reducing churn, improving CX, and supporting long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Document Current-State Practices
Map and document existing product and pricing processes across all BUs/Segments, including product setup, bundling, pricing models (user bands, subscription, transactional), renewals, and customer contracts.
2. Identify Pain Points
Analyze current practices to uncover inefficiencies, redundancies, and unnecessary complexity that hinder scalability and customer experience.
3. Drive Harmonization Across BUs/Segments
This role will help implement changes in all TAAE migrations, including the S4 HANA upgrade for existing STEP countries
4. Following the global definitions collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement standardized practices for:Product setup and bundlingPricing structures (user bands, subscription, transactional)Renewal processes and customer contract managementCustomer Data Governance
5. Partner with the Enterprise Data Management team to define and implement a consistent process and hierarchy across systems.
6. Process Ownership & OptimizationOwn end-to-end process design and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with Salesforce and SAP platform capabilities and enhancementsLead change impact assessments and develop adoption strategies to ensure successful implementation across business units.
7. Cross-Functional Leadership
Partnering closely with Product Operations to ensure seamless execution of product lifecycle changes, aligning system setup enabling go-to-market strategies and operational readiness. Collaboratively, this role ensures accurate, consistent product setup—preventing revenue leakage from issues like misconfigured multi-year agreements or pricing exceptions. These gaps currently result in missed or incorrect billing, manual rework, and customer dissatisfaction.
8. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Define KPIs, track progress, and provide regular updates to executive leadership on milestones, risks, and key decisions.

Qualifications

Required qualifications

9. 8+ years of experience in business process transformation, operations, and/or systems implementation
10. Specific focus in product operations or pricing enablement, strongly preferred
11. Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing executive stakeholders
12. Strong analytical and documentation skills with a focus on process optimization
13. Experience with pricing, product management, or customer contract processes
14. Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems

Preferred qualifications

15. Experience working in a global, matrixed environment
16. SaaS-based product knowledge
17. Pricing hierarchy experience
18. Experience with CPQ/Billing systems
19. Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce platforms
20. Background in finance, pricing strategy, or digital/product operations

21. Ability to create business requirements in partnership with several business units, departments, and technology partners to ensure end solutions meet customer needs and organizational objectives
22. Continuous improvement mentality that drives operational excellence, quality, and transformation
23. Ability to work and interact with C level executives
24. Excellent facilitation skills and ability to negotiate with senior level management and external stakeholders to influence decisions
25. Excellent organizational skills
26. Demonstrated leadership ability. Ability to lead highly visible programs or initiatives across the organization
27. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and work within tight deadlines
28. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be capable of preparing and presenting complex material to executives and senior management

Travel Expectations: Less than 10% - includes international travel
