Al 19 jaar lang is Woodstoxx absolute trendsetter voor alles wat houten toepassingen voor in- en exterieur betreft. Parket, gevel, wand, terras of plafond – you name it, Woodstoxx has it. Vanuit onze vier state-of-the-art belevingscentra in Menen, Gent, Antwerpen en Brussel versterken we jaar na jaar onze marktpositie. Om onze aankoop- en productafdeling te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren aankoopmanager.
WIE BEN JE?
Je combineert een liefde voor hout met een talent voor aankoop en strategie. Je weet wat er leeft in de markt, onderhoudt vlot internationale contacten en onderhandelt met flair. Dankzij jouw inzicht en nieuwsgierigheid groeit ons aanbod verder in kwaliteit, originaliteit en karakter.
Vanuit je ervaring en passie voor onze producten, bepaal en bewaak je onze aankoopstrategie, bereid je nieuwe productlanceringen voor en ben je dé schakel tussen onze leveranciers, productspecialisten en productontwikkeling.
Je stuurt een team aan van twee experten en werkt nauw samen met collega's uit R&D, sales en operations.
* Je hebt minstens 10 jaar ervaring in de houtsector en weet hoe de markt beweegt.
* Je combineert technische kennis van houtsoorten en hun toepassingen met een scherp zakelijk inzicht.
* Je hebt ervaring in aankoopmanagement, bij voorkeur in een internationale context.
* Je denkt strategisch én duurzaam: je ziet opportuniteiten en weet ze te vertalen naar sterke, toekomstgerichte keuzes voor Woodstoxx.
* Je bent een geboren onderhandelaar, met respect voor de mens aan de andere kant van de tafel.
* Je communiceert helder en authentiek, in Nederlands en Engels; kennis van Frans is mooi meegenomen.
* Omdat hout geen grenzen kent, ben je ook bereid om regelmatig te reizen om onze leveranciers te ontmoeten en nieuwe partners te ontdekken.
WAT DOE JE?
Je overziet onze volledige productafdeling en werkt nauw samen met onze twee productverantwoordelijken, één voor Parket, één voor Gevel & Terras. Samen tillen jullie onze collectie naar een nog hoger niveau.
* Je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt voor onze productverantwoordelijken en zorgt voor een vlotte samenwerking tussen beide domeinen én de andere afdelingen binnen Woodstoxx.
* Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het aankoopbeleid en onderhandelt met leveranciers over de beste voorwaarden, dit altijd met respect voor kwaliteit, herkomst en duurzaamheid.
* Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de opvolging van duurzaamheids- en certificeringsnormen binnen onze supply chain en zorgt dat Woodstoxx steeds compliant blijft.
* Je leidt de go-to-market van nieuwe producten: van het eerste idee tot de lancering in onze showrooms, jij bent de spilfiguur die alles in goede banen leidt.
* Je volgt prijszetting, marktevoluties en trends in de houtsector op de voet en vertaalt die inzichten naar concrete keuzes voor onze collectie.
* Je onderhoudt sterke relaties met leveranciers wereldwijd en gaat steeds op zoek naar duurzame samenwerkingen en vernieuwende materialen.
* Je bewaakt de kwaliteit, herkomst en uitstraling van onze producten en zoekt voortdurend naar vernieuwing binnen de houtsector.
* Je verbindt mensen, producten en processen tot één sterk geheel, met oog voor detail, authenticiteit en esthetiek.

PURCHASE MANAGER
For 18 years, Woodstoxx has been the absolute trendsetter for everything related to interior and exterior wood applications. Parquet, facades, walls, terraces or ceilings – you name it, Woodstoxx has it. From our four state-of-the-art experience centres in Menen, Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels, we are strengthening our market position year after year. To reinforce our purchasing and product department, we are looking for an experienced purchasing manager.
WHO ARE YOU?
You combine a love of wood with a talent for purchasing and strategy. You know what is going on in the market, maintain international contacts with ease and negotiate with flair. Thanks to your insight and curiosity, our range continues to grow in quality, originality and character. Based on your experience and passion for our products, you will determine and monitor our purchasing strategy, prepare new product launches and act as the link between our suppliers, product specialists and product development. You will lead a team of two experts and work closely with colleagues from R&D, sales and operations.
* You have at least 10 years of experience in the timber sector and know how the market works.
* You combine technical knowledge of wood types and their applications with sharp business acumen.
* You have experience in purchasing management, preferably in an international context.
* You think strategically and sustainably: you see opportunities and know how to translate them into strong, future-oriented choices for Woodstoxx.
* You are a born negotiator, with respect for the person on the other side of the table.
* You communicate clearly and authentically, in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
* Because wood knows no boundaries, you are also willing to travel regularly to meet our suppliers and discover new partners.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
You oversee our entire product department and work closely with our two product managers, one for Parquet and one for Facades & Terraces. Together, you take our collection to an even higher level.
* You are the central point of contact for our product managers and ensure smooth cooperation between both domains and the other departments within Woodstoxx.
* You are responsible for purchasing policy and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms and conditions, always with respect for quality, origin and sustainability.
* You are responsible for monitoring sustainability and certification standards within our supply chain and ensuring that Woodstoxx remains compliant at all times.
* You will lead the go-to-market of new products: from the initial idea to the launch in our showrooms, you will be the key figure who keeps everything on track.
* You will closely monitor pricing, market developments and trends in the timber sector and translate those insights into concrete choices for our collection.
* You maintain strong relationships with suppliers worldwide and are always on the lookout for sustainable partnerships and innovative materials.
* You monitor the quality, origin and appearance of our products and are constantly looking for innovation within the timber sector.
* You connect people, products and processes into a single strong whole, with an eye for detail, authenticity and aesthetics.
