As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, operation, and follow-up of a portfolio of renewable energy assets (EnR) in their operational phase. Working closely with a small, skilled team within the Asset Management department, you will play a key role in maximizing production while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and budgetary control.This hybrid role involves both office-based and on-site work. Your main responsibilities:Monitor asset performance using existing or custom KPIs, and identify opportunities for optimizationDrive continuous improvement in reliability, safety, and operational performanceCoordinate with service providers and ensure contractual and regulatory obligations are metManage operational budgets and provide clear reporting to internal and external stakeholdersConduct regular on-site visits and support maintenance activitiesImplement loss recovery plans and support insurance claims follow-upEnsure full compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulationsSupport O&M planning for development and repowering projectsContribute to local stakeholder communication effortsYou hold a degree in Engineering (General, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental); an additional qualification in project management is a strong assetYou have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy sector or IPPYou have a solid background in contract management and enjoy negotiating with various stakeholdersYou are highly interested in both the technical and financial performance of projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills are among your key strengthsFamiliarity with maintenance operations in power infrastructure is a plusYou are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken (mandatory for this role)You are comfortable with IT tools and data applications, especially Excel, Power BI, and Power PlatformA valid driving license (Category B) is requiredThis role involves occasional field visits and travelTo be eligible for this role, you must currently reside in Belgium and hold a valid work permit What we offer:A full-time position within a fast-growing and leading company in renewable energy.An impactful role where your entrepreneurship, initiative, and sales skills define success.An attractive benefits package, including a green company car, meal vouchers, mobile phone, group insurance, and hospitalization insurance for you and your family.Flexible workplace: 2 days home office.
