Reporting to the Finance Manager of the Luxembourg organisation (100 % position), you will enjoy the opportunity to be involved in the accounting and administration of Luxembourg-based unregulated companies (“SOPARFIs”), mainly active in the private equity industry.
Main tasks include:
* Managing the local quarterly and year-end reporting process and the preparation of the statutory financial statements of the Luxembourg based entities and other ad-hoc financial reporting requests
* Preparing financial part of the board meetings of these SOPARFIs
* Handling the day-to-day financial activities and administration of the entities, incl. payment execution
* Ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting based on group instructions
* Ensure that all tax returns, tax declarations and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time
* Support management on finance related special projects
* Liaising with colleagues inside and outside Luxembourg
* Taking over work from colleagues at busy times or in the event of sickness/holidays.
Formal education
* Holds at least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
Work experience
* At least 3 to 6 years post qualification business experience in accounting and finance / experienced working in an international environment
* Has an understanding of complicated legal and accounting structures, preferably in a private equity environment
* Has a good understanding of Luxembourg GAAP, with knowledge of IFRS an advantage
* Good understanding of MS Office tools (Microsoft Dynamics)
* Ideally experienced coordination of IT projects
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
