TMC is looking for a Procurement Specialist! This role offers the chance to work across multiple categories, supporting both strategic and operational procurement activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies. The position involves managing supplier relationships, sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and contributing to continuous improvement projects. You will also be actively involved in stakeholder engagement, cost management, and ESG initiatives, helping the business achieve both financial and sustainability goals.
* Help develop and implement procurement strategies with cross-functional teams to deliver tangible results and innovative solutions.
* Support managing relationships with local and global suppliers across multiple categories, including negotiating contracts and ensuring supplier performance.
* Join strategic sourcing initiatives such as RFIs, RFQs, and supplier negotiations using digital tools.
* Drive supplier development and continuous improvement efforts to maximize value and efficiency.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, supporting projects and providing business insights to ensure requirements are met.
What we expect from you:
* Degree in business, supply chain, procurement, engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in direct procurement or pharmaceutical operations with a strong interest in procurement.
* Experience in contract management, supplier negotiation, and category management.
* Market knowledge, skills in negotiation, and supplier management.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; fluent in English and Dutch.
