What will the job entail?
* Manage, maintain, and develop your client portfolio with expertise in General Liability, Products Liability, Construction-related liabilities, Environmental Risks, Professional Liability, and other liability-related matters.
* Manage a wide array of subjects spanning different industries such as Construction, Life Sciences and Pharma, and the Public Sector. You will work with both national and international companies, crafting a significant impact for the clients you support.
* Act as the lead advisor for your clients, developing a deep understanding of their business, risk strategies, and risk management to provide accurate, informed advice.
* Evaluate and analyze liability risks for clients across all industry sectors, both nationally and internationally.
* Develop, present, and complete renewal and placement strategies to deliver the best and most innovative solutions to clients.
* Build, negotiate, and draft manuscript policy wordings, and implement and service national and global insurance programs.
* Actively commit and contribute towards outstanding team performance.
* Stay abreast of relevant regulations, legislation, and changing market conditions.
* Strive continually to improve client happiness and ensure we deliver on our promises to the client.
* Concentrate on outcomes and resolutions with enthusiasm for the business.
* Build relationships with clients, the wider insurance market, and Aon resources and specialists globally.
Job requirements
* Master’s degree in Law, Economics, or demonstrated equivalent experience in a similar function or area of expertise.
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years (mid-level) to 8 to 10 years (senior level) of experience in Liability Insurance or in a legal or consultancy role.
* Proven great teammate with outstanding relationship-building skills both internally and with clients and insurance markets.
* Highly motivated with a passion for the company, striving for excellence, and willing to really contribute.
* Specific interest and/or background in specialist areas related to industries such as Construction, Life Sciences, and Environmental risks is an asset.
* Preferably trilingual and at least proficient in French or Dutch, and in English.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Capable of working both in a team and independently.
