We are currently looking for a Mechanical Construction QC Inspector to join a major industrial project. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and piping works are executed in compliance with project quality standards, specifications, and procedures, supporting a smooth construction and handover process.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspection
* Perform witness, inspection, and surveillance checks on mechanical and piping works
* Continuously assess subcontractor QC performance and ensure compliance with project standards
* Ensure all work is executed in accordance with the Construction Site Quality Plan, approved ITPs, and procedures
Documentation & Compliance
* Ensure that all inspection activities are properly recorded and documented
* Verify that materials used comply with project technical documentation, codes, and specifications
* Support the QC and turnover team in collecting and compiling quality records
Subcontractor Management
* Review and comment on subcontractor procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
* Monitor subcontractor QC resource levels to ensure quality standards are met
* Maintain close coordination with subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant execution of works
Non-Conformance & Punch Management
* Identify and document subcontractor and supplier quality deficiencies
* Initiate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required
* Record deficiencies and incomplete works on punch lists and follow up with supervisors/superintendents to ensure timely closure
Coordination & Communication
* Maintain close liaison with discipline supervisors to coordinate field inspections
* Communicate quality issues, inspection results, and progress clearly to stakeholders
Safety Compliance
* Implement HSE procedures and standards in line with applicable laws and project requirements
* Actively identify and report unsafe acts, behaviours, and conditions on site
Your Profile
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction within mechanical and piping disciplines
* Strong xphnsxz background in mechanical systems, piping, and site quality control activities
* Familiarity with completion and turnover management processes
* Good understanding of inspection methodologies, codes, and standards
* Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
* Proactive mindset with strong communication and coordination abilities
