We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to help shape and implement the strategic enterprise data architecture of a major financial services organization. You will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, Analytics, and IT teams to design scalable, compliant, and future-proof data solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, architecture governance, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the definition and execution of the Enterprise Data Architecture framework.
Ensure alignment of project architecture and data flows with the target data vision.
Design and validate end-to-end data architecture solutions supporting reporting, analytics, regulatory and operational needs.
Actively participate in architecture governance, offering validation and challenge across strategic projects.
Maintain and enrich the documentation of data assets across the enterprise landscape (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, BI, MDM, etc.).
Support regulatory data initiatives (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS17) with compliant architecture models.
Collaborate with Data Governance and Data Science teams to support AI/ML, GenAI and analytics use cases.
Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of data platforms hosted in the cloud (Azure).
Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in data architecture, modeling and governance.

Profile Requirements
Technical Skills
* Proven experience in data architecture design, enterprise data modeling, and data flows
* Strong knowledge of Azure data services (e.g., Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory, Power BI)
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial services (Solvency II, IFRS17)
* Experience with architecture methodologies and tools (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, Sparx EA)
* Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data cataloging tools
* Understanding of BI & Analytics platforms and business use cases
Soft Skills
* Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
* Collaborative mindset, experience working with cross-functional teams
* Consulting or client-facing experience is a plus
* Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset
