To further support this growth, the organization is looking for a Key Account Manager Retail Benelux & France.
Mission
As Key Account Manager Retail Benelux & France, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail customers across France and the Benelux region, both for private label collaborations and branded products.
Your mission is to build strong, long-term customer partnerships, translate commercial strategy into concrete business plans, and ensure flawless execution in close collaboration with internal teams. You will play a key role in driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction in a complex, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management & Business Development
Manage and grow assigned key accounts in France and Benelux through strategic business planning.
Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships based on trust and performance.
Negotiate pricing agreements, including prices, discounts, and commercial conditions.
Operational Coordination & Customer Excellence
Ensure timely and successful delivery of products in line with customer specifications.
Work closely with production plants, supply chain, logistics, and quality teams.
Manage forecasting, budgets, and administrative follow-up for your customer portfolio.
Performance Management & Market Intelligence
Monitor sales performance and manage KPI-driven reporting.
Support Sales Management by providing insights on market trends, data, competition, and opportunities.
Prepare internal and external customer presentations when required.
Stakeholder Management & Representation
Manage customer complaints efficiently and autonomously; escalate complex cases when needed.
Represent the company at international trade fairs.
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, NPD, Logistics, Quality, Production, and Marketing.
Report directly to the Sales Manager Retail.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Master's degree in Business, Economics, or similar, and/or 3–5 years of commercial experience in FMCG.
Experience in the (frozen) food industry is a strong asset.
Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of customers, products, and applications.
Skills & Mindset
Strong background in proactive relationship management and key account planning.
Comfortable with KPI-driven reporting and sales excellence optimization.
Team player who thrives in a multicultural, matrix-driven organization.
Able to navigate complexity with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
Detail-oriented while maintaining a clear overview of multiple dossiers.
Languages & Tools
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
Mobility
Willing to travel occasionally within France and Benelux (approx. 5 days/month).
