Noon is an art gallery focussing on contemporary art and limited editions. Founded in 2017 as Charles De Cordier Fine Arts, the gallery expanded in 2025 with the partnership of Jonathan Dierks and was subsequently renamed noon. The gallery operates spaces in Ghent and Antwerp and participates annually in several (inter)national art fairs, including this year BADAFF, Art Rotterdam, and PAN Amsterdam. For our Antwerp gallery (Vlaamsekaai 39), we are looking for a student who can assist as a Gallery Assistant with daily operations. In particular, we are looking for someone available during the final two weeks of March (16/03 through 29/03). The gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 12 pm to 6 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the gallery
- Keeping the gallery space tidy and, where necessary, assisting with the installation and dismantling of exhibitions
- Receiving small deliveries
- Welcoming clients and providing information about artworks and editions
- Selling artworks and limited editions, always in consultation with and supported by the two business owners
- Managing the website and sales platforms
- Contributing to the growth of the gallery
Profile:
- Knowledge and experience in the art world are desirable but not required
- Strong motivation and willingness to learn quickly
- Written and spoken proficiency in Dutch and English; additional languages are an asset
- Good presentation and social skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and attentive to what needs to be done
