Joris Ide NV is looking for a (senior) System Engineer to join the existing IT Infrastructure Team responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and support of infrastructure across all business units in Europe.
You will report to the Joris Ide IT Infrastructure Team Lead.
Job content:
* You will be responsible for the design and implementation of various infrastructure services in accordance with the vision and strategy of the company.
* You will be responsible for onboarding mergers and acquisitions in the Joris Ide environment (greenfield and brown field).
* You will gain experience and become a subject matter expert who guides his/her colleagues with complex technical questions.
* You will be responsible for supporting our onpremises and cloud environments.
* You will be responsible for evaluating the existing environment and provide technical feedback and recommendations to the IT Infrastructure Team Lead.
* You will manage and coordinate incidents and service requests in accordance with our internal procedures & processes.
* You will ensure audit compliancy of your key areas by using PowerBi dashboards.
Your Profile:
* You have over 5 years of experience in a similar position.
* You are a team player that is willing to assist others to achieve a common goal.
* You are a critical thinker and a selforganised person with an eye for detail.
* You like to work in a result oriented, nononsense environment.
* You have a good understanding of ITIL.
* You are fluent in Dutch and English and can pull your weight in French.
* You are prepared to travel to different sites if required.
You have experience with most of the core technologies in use at Joris Ide:
* HCI (Nutanix), VMware (vSphere, ESXi, SRM), Hypervisors & Storage (SAN)
* Microsoft Technology Stack (Server OS, Identity Management, Exchange & O365, Intune, SQL)
* Network Infrastructure (Cisco & Palo Alto, Routing & Switching, WLAN)
* Backup Infrastructure (Rubrik)
* Enterprise Monitoring (PRTG, Zabbix)
* Vulnerability Management & Remediation (Qualys VMDR)
* Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Ansible)
* API Querying (REST API)
