Job Overview:
Effective site supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time and according to project specifications.
As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for managing and executing team tasks at overseas sites.
You will offer practical support in assembly, welding, and preservation while overseeing site workers and ensuring adherence to specific behavior and safety protocols.
The Site Manager will rely on you to keep them updated on project progress, coordinate tasks according to the schedule and quality standards, and foster productivity.
In your daily duties, you will perform tasks in compliance with quality and safety regulations, identify issues and risks, and report them to the Site Manager.
Additionally, you may be assigned to different sites as needed, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
With first-line decision-making authority for safety and quality in the Site Manager's absence, you will handle daily coordination and consultations to ensure optimal project progress.
Monitoring work progress, focusing on quality, safety, order, and cleanliness, is also a critical aspect of this role.
A degree within a technical field and leadership experience in assembly or construction projects are essential requirements for this position.
Preferred certifications include VCA-VOL, First Aid, Scaffolding Inspector, Aerial Work Platform Operator, Telehandler Operator.
Strong people skills, effective communication, and the ability to solve problems in a team environment are highly valued traits for this role.
Experience with Office 365 and familiarity with planning and measurement systems are also desirable.
