Responsibilities
define and document the technical architecture of the UMAX solution, leveraging modern Microsoft and Azure technologies
capture, analyze, and translate business and technical requirements into innovative, high-quality solutions
develop proofs of concept (POCs) to validate new technologies or architectural approaches
recommend and design standardized product integrations with third‑party systems (e.g., payment processing, AMI, asset management, GIS)
provide technical leadership and support during pre‑sales, RFP development, and client solution design
own the infrastructure and interface components of commercial proposals, ensuring alignment between sales and delivery
serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, showcasing UMAX’s adaptability and evolution with future technologies
act as QA and escalation point for integration or interface challenges during project delivery
partner with integration vendors and internal teams to ensure consistent technical execution across projects
maintain and share knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and integration best practices
coach and guide internal consultants and colleagues (functional and technical) to build architectural capability
Qualifications
a master’s degree in applied informatics or equivalent through experience
15+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years in a Technical Architect role
proven expertise in Microsoft technologies (Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365, Azure) and enterprise integration patterns
experience in software product development and methodologies (SDLC, Agile, DevOps)
ability to define and implement technology strategies that drive scalability, reusability, and innovation
experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Product Management, Sales, and Delivery teams
strong client‑facing skills, able to communicate complex solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences
a proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities
