Freelance Accounting Team Lead Position.
What will you do?
You lead a team of 10 finance professionals and are responsible for the correct and timely delivery of financial reports to external clients within the banking and insurance sector.
Specifically:
* Responsible for IFRS and BGAAP reporting to external customers
* Monitoring financial processes and risks within a regulated environment
* Managing, coaching and developing a bilingual team
* Optimizing and harmonizing financial processes
* Acting as a point of contact for customers in reporting and improvement processes
* Linking IT systems to financial reporting
* You report to the Head of Finance.

Skills Who are we looking for?
* At least 10 years of experience within the banking or financial sector
* Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting (IFRS & BGAAP)
* Experience in team management
* Experience in a regulated environment is a strong asset
* Strong analytical skills and insight into process optimization
* Dutch or French speaking with good knowledge of the other national language
* Strong knowledge of MS Office; SQL is a plus
* Hands-on mentality with coaching leadership style
* Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting (IFRS & BGAAP)
* French speaking with a good knowledge of the other national language

Onsite Policy: 2 Days Per Week
