As a Compliance Expert within the Legal & Compliance team at BMW Group Belux, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining an effective local Compliance Management System. You will ensure that our processes and activities are fully aligned with both external legislation and internal BMW Group compliance requirements, while contributing to a strong compliance culture across the organisation.
What awaits you?
1. Develop, implement and continuously enhance the local Compliance Management System in line with internal BMW Group standards and external legal requirements
2. Ensure business processes and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies, reporting to the Legal & Compliance Manager
3. Act as the internal point of contact for key compliance domains, including antitrust compliance, corruption prevention, fraud prevention, export control compliance and AML
4. Monitor and translate relevant legislation and BMW Group regulations into practical local procedures and guidelines
5. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, BMW Group headquarters and other group entities
6. Strengthen compliance maturity and culture through risk assessments, control plans, spot checks and reporting
7. Advise, coach and train employees on compliance topics, tools and methodologies
What should you bring along?
8. At least three years of professional experience, preferably in a similar compliance or regulatory role and a master degree.
9. The ability to work autonomously while being a committed and collaborative team player
10. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex messages clearly and constructively
11. A proactive, structured and well-organised working approach
12. A high sense of responsibility and ownership towards your tasks and results
13. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
14. Fluency in Dutch, French and English
