About the Opportunity:
We are working with a well-established manufacturing organisation in Brussels that is looking to hire an experienced Business Controller on a long-term contract basis. This role offers the chance to join a dynamic team and make a measurable impact from day one. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and brings strong experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and report financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making
Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance using SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for internal reporting
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Continuously improve controlling processes with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
Key Skills & Experience:
~5-7 years of experience as a Business Controller or in a similar financial controlling role
~ Strong practical experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
~ Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions and data analysis
~ Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
~ Results-driven, independent, and proactive mindset
~ Fluency in at least one of the following languages: Dutch, French, or English (mandatory)
~ Comfortable working with IT systems and adapting to new tools quickly
~ Collaborative approach, with strong communication skills for working with stakeholders across departments
