To support our team, we are recruiting for Minasolve a:
Formulation & Cosmetic application Specialist (M/W) (Permanent Contract)
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will develop, test, and optimize cosmetic formulations using our innovative ingredients. You will provide expertise, guidance and support to customers, assisting them in integrating our materials into their finished products.
Your main responsibilities for this position are:
Formulation development:
1. Design and develop cosmetic formulations (shampoos, emulsions, make-up products, …)
2. Incorporate both existing and new Minasolve ingredients into formulations.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, …) to ensure formulations meet customer requirements and industry standards.
4. Ensures the stability of cosmetic formulations (physical stability tests, challenge tests).
5. Optimize formulation processes to enhance product properties and overall effectiveness.
6. Support patenting activities by providing relevant data.
Marketing Support:
7. Offer technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and formulation advice.
8. Create exemplary formulation kits to effectively showcase Minasolve ingredients.
9. Engage with customers, distributors, and suppliers to build strong relationships and facilitate effective communication.
10. Represent the technical marketing team at selected trade fairs to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
11. Participate in customer training sessions to demonstrate product properties and usage.
12. Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in formulation technologies and cosmetic ingredients to maintain a competitive edge.
Laboratory Management:
13. Ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available and maintained in good condition for efficient laboratory operations.
14. Participate in laboratory equipment calibration routines to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
You have a scientific background, with at least a bachelor’s degree, and a genuine passion for and experience in cosmetic formulation.
You are highly organized, capable of working autonomously, and bring precision and perseverance to your tasks.
As a team player, you thrive in versatile, small-team environments where precision is essential.
You are fluent in English and proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
This position is based at our site in Louvain-La-Neuve (BE) with the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week.
