Senior Project Leader (Part-Time)
Location: Hybrid (Remote + On-site in Brussels)
Engagement: 2 days per week (flexibility required for meetings)
Languages: Fluent Dutch required; understanding of French and English

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Leader to help drive the success of a major internal program. Working closely with Product Owners (POs) and external supplier Project Leaders (PLs), you will play a key role in aligning deliverables, managing timelines, and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
You will report directly to the internal Program Manager, who oversees the entire initiative and manages change processes (not part of your responsibilities). Your focus will be on project coordination, communication, and execution on the internal (CM) side.
This is a part-time assignment (2 days/week) with flexible hours and hybrid work setup. However, presence at the Brussels office is required at least once per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate multiple project cycles on the CM side in close collaboration with POs and external PLs.
* Monitor and safeguard project objectives, deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Ensure clear, consistent communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Foster collaboration and a strong sense of ownership among team members.
* Proactively identify and manage risks, and adapt plans as needed.
* Facilitate decision-making based on accurate data and project progress.
* Provide regular status updates and escalate bottlenecks or concerns to management.
* Promote a learning-oriented and results-driven project culture.
* Guarantee a smooth transfer of project outcomes to the operational organization.
Profile
* You are a seasoned Project Leader with a proven track record of leading cross-functional projects.
* You are immediately available and can integrate quickly into a team.
* Experience with HR applications is a strong plus.
* Skilled at navigating both Agile/Scrum environments (internal teams) and more traditional project approaches (supplier side).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* You are fluent in Dutch and can follow conversations in both French and English.
* Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with flexibility around location and working hours.
Preferred Experience
* Strong background in project governance and working across cross-functional and vendor teams.
* Familiarity with Agile frameworks, especially Scrum.
* Experience in the public sector or complex organizational environments is a bonus.
