Join a federal independent administration on an ambitious modernization program consisting of multiple projects with tight deadlines. As a hands-on Senior Solution Engineer, you'll translate high-level solution architectures into implementation architectures and execute their actual implementation. Work alongside experienced, highly competent, and motivated team members while leveraging the expertise of an enterprise architect.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate high-level solution architectures into detailed implementation architectures autonomously and flawlessly
* Design, develop, manage, and decommission IT solutions within the team's scope
* Guide the team in designing and developing secure and robust solutions across the entire stack
* Bring applications into production and maintain them in collaboration with team members
* Contribute technical expertise and experience to all sprint events including planning, refinements, retrospectives, and demos
* Propose alternative solutions and formulate recommendations on choices to be made, considering the full context
* Continuously develop personal expertise while gathering, updating, and sharing knowledge about new tools and practices within the team
What are we looking for?
* You have a
degree in computer science
from a recognized university or college within the European Union
* You have 10+ years hands-on experience designing, defining, and developing APIs
* You have 10+ years hands-on experience developing and integrating microservices
* You have 10+ years hands-on experience with
Java SE and 5+ years with Java SE10+
* You have 5+ years hands-on experience with
software design for cloud, API, microservices, and event-driven systems
* You have 5+ years experience working within large agile delivery teams
* You have 3+ years hands-on experience with
cloud native development,
preferably Azure Cloud
* You have 3+ years hands-on experience integrating
PaaS offerings

* You have 3+ years hands-on experience with
NoSQL database

CI/CD pipelines, preferably within Azure DevOps

Java framework Quarkus
* You are an active listener with a flexible attitude and possess the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
