What you'll do
Can you name three agencies where you can build an app for a client, develop a creative brand campaign, redesign a website and create a glossy company magazine? At iO, we do it all (and more).
At the Antwerp campus, you find yourself in a large playground full of experts from various disciplines: from developers to creative copywriters. Cooperation is key and that is exactly what you do for top brands such as Proximus, Lipton, Q8, Dove, Axe and Port of Antwerp. You accompany them as a partner in their digital transition through the years: you get to know their business inside out and help steer the ship in the right direction.
As an Account Director, you are the person our customers call when they have difficult questions, new projects or bright ideas. You dare to ask critical questions and, together with the strategist, convert your clients' wishes into executable projects.
What we expect from you? As an Account Director, you are both your client’s partner and an internal uniter and supervisor. As a partner, you develop a relationship of trust with your clients and help them develop their business proactively. You monitor their objectives, know how to spot opportunities and take advantage of them. As a uniter, you involve the right specialists at the right time and ensure a well-functioning and motivated project team. And as a supervisor, you keep an overview of the day-to-day operations and keep track of the finances.
The best thing about iO? You have a lot of expertise at your fingertips. No matter how extensive or niche a client's question is: you can always help. Because in addition to your colleagues on campus, you can call on more than 1,500 talented top people across Europe: our slack channel is better than Google. So you don't have to look for freelancers, or wait for an answer from an external partner.
Knowledge lies at the centre of everything you do at iO. Our focus is on autonomy and you get plenty of opportunities for personal growth. Do you want to follow training courses to become even better than you already are? That’s great! But there is also room for relaxation. Want to blow off some steam in our game room between meetings? Of course you can. Spontaneous afterwork in the kitchen after a long day? Cheers!
Fancy being a part of the team? Then quickly claim a front-row seat to help shape the agency of the future.
