Day/Evening Receptionist — Anfitrión Marbella
Location: Nueva Andalucía, Marbella (29660)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days/week (may include weekends)
Shifts: 08:00–16:00 or 16:00–00:00

Salary: €1,600 gross/month + various incentives

Role Overview
As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of Anfitrión Marbella, ensuring that every guest feels personally attended to and genuinely cared for. You will manage both day and evening shifts within a small, professional team that values calm efficiency, communication, and sensitivity to guests’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Front Desk
* Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
* Provide detailed information about the property, art pieces, and surrounding area (restaurants, culture, shopping, events).
* Handle guest requests promptly and discreetly, maintaining the brand’s serene and elegant tone.
* Anticipate guest needs and ensure all details of their stay exceed expectations.
* Assist with special requests, transfers, reservations, and room arrangements.
Operational Tasks
* Manage daily reception operations during assigned shift.
* Answer phone calls, emails, and messages with precision and grace.
* Record and report maintenance issues, lost & found, or incidents promptly.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and common areas are in perfect condition.
* Ensure all guest extras (minibar, laundry, transfers, etc.) are properly recorded and charged.
* Prepare daily reports and follow-up handovers for the next shift.
Sales & Reservations
* Handle direct booking requests, send proposals, and close reservations following sales guidelines.
* Update PMS and OTA platforms (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) as needed.
* Upsell additional services when appropriate (art purchase assistance, villa rentals, events).
Team Coordination
* Collaborate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure seamless operations.
* Participate in daily briefings and contribute to a positive, respectful team environment.
Brand Alignment
* Embody Anfitrión’s core values: discretion, aesthetic sensibility, and intelligent hospitality.
* Maintain impeccable personal presentation and communication style at all times.
* Approach each guest and situation with emotional intelligence, patience, and empathy
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (minimum 1 year preferred).
* Fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of other languages (French, Arabic, Russian, etc.) is a plus.
* Confident in using PMS systems and online booking tools.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* High emotional intelligence, refined manners, and a calm, service-oriented attitude.
* Availability for variable shifts (morning/evening, including weekends).
