Job PurposeWe are seeking a veteran Senior SAP Domain Architect with 15+ years of hands-on implementation experience to lead the strategic architecture of our Record-to-Report (R2R), Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), and Master File/Finance (MFP) domains. You will drive complex transformations in regulated sectors (Utilities, MRO, Publicly Listed) and define the future state of our financial landscape on SAP S/4HANA .
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Leadership: Lead full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations as Domain Architect, defining target architectures that align with global business strategies.Domain Expertise: Own the end-to-end solution design for R2R (FICO, Group Reporting), Q2C (SD, Revenue Accounting), and MFP (Business Partner, FICA).Complex Integration: Architect robust integrations between SAP and external ecosystems, including SAP C4C, Ariba, and specialized utility solutions ( FICA for Contract Accounts Receivable/Payable).Governance & Modeling: Utilize ADOIT or ARIS for advanced enterprise architecture modeling, analysis, and governance to ensure compliance and scalability.Stakeholder Management: Lead high-level workshops with senior executives in Finance, Procurement, and Sales, translating business needs into technical roadmaps.Team Leadership: Convince and guide teams of internal and external SAP consultants on "to-be" solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and future-proof designs.Project Delivery: Manage projects with full or partial financial scope using ServiceNow, Jira, Xray, and Solution Manager .
Conformity CriteriaYou communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written). Dutch or French as a mother tongue or at least level C, the other language at least level B2. English, at least level B2Minimum 15 years of hands-on SAP implementation experience (specifically in R2R and Q2C), including at least one publicly listed company, one MRO organization, and one Utility sector project within Belgium.Led at least one full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementation as Domain Architect .Demonstrable implementation success with SAP Business Partner (BP) and FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable/Payable).Advanced proficiency in enterprise architecture tools (specifically ADOIT or ARIS ) for modeling, analysis, and governance.Minimum 2 days per week on-site
Evaluation criteria Required skills:In-depth solution knowledge on ECC and S/4HANA FICO and FICA functionalities, as well as in-depth functional and configuration knowledge of integrated modules ( MM, SD, PP, PM )Experience with integration with C4C, FICA and Ariba into the financial flows.Expertise in a broad range of financial solutions in or outside of SAP (treasury, consolidation, expense mgt, reporting,....)Proven knowledge of project management methodology and experience in working with ServiceNow, Jira & Xray & Solution ManagerProven experience to lead meetings with senior business managers in the areas of Finance, Procurement and SalesProven experience to convince a team of SAP consultants (internal or external) of to-be solutions in line with the future architecturesAble through demonstrated experience *to lead projects with full or partial scope in Financials*ills
