NTT DATA is looking for a freelance Enterprise Data Architect for a public sector agency based in Brussels.

Your role:
As Enterprise Data Architect, you'll play a key role in designing and maintaining a consolidated and integrated data model across the organization. You'll ensure data flows are well understood, documented, and optimized to support high-quality, sustainable applications and strategic decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the mapping of data flows and objects across technical and business domains
* Developing and maintaining a data catalog, conceptual data models, and data flow overviews
* Supporting and evolving the enterprise architecture with a focus on data/information
* Defining and promoting data governance methodologies and standards (e.g. DMBOK)
* Contributing to strategic decisions through impact analysis and scenario modeling
* Supporting transformation initiatives including RFPs, master plans, and PoCs
* Ensuring data quality in collaboration with application architects
* Identifying and mitigating information security risks
* Staying up to date with emerging technologies and trends
* Coaching and supporting other roles (DBAs, analysts, architects) in applying data architecture standards

* Proven experience in data architecture and governance
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking
* Technical fluency to engage with IT experts
* Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
* Excellent communication and structured working style
* Experience in change management and cross-functional collaboration
* Autonomous and results-driven mindset

* Knowledge of pensions and Belgian social security
Languages Required
* Dutch, French, and English
